A luxury hotel in Sweden Nordic Light Hotel has announced the introduction of modern social communications as a "currency".
Hotel in Stockholm offers anyone who have more than 2,000 friends on Facebook, 100,000 likes on his page or 100 000 subscribers on Instagram to stay at the hotel seven nights in exchange for publications in social media.
CEO of Nordic Light Hotel Marcus Majewski says that the hotel management believes that posts in social networks worth "exchanging" as they provide marketing of the hotel.
"I am proud that we are the first hotel in the Nordic region, which offers such an exchange," said Majewski.
The hotel where the cost for accommodation is $ 360 per room for the night, also offers discounts for those who have less than 2,000 Facebook friends. 5% discount is expected for those who have 500 friends and 10% discount is for the guests with 1000 friends.
It is to be recalled that Pavel Durov has launched a new social network Durov.im. According to experts, it has a real chance to compete with Facebook, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and other large-scale social networks. And not so long ago a social network for alcohol lovers was launched.
