December 22, on the day of diplomacy, The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and the National Bank of the Republic of Poland have signed a SWAP agreement on the allocation of a credit line of €1 bln to Ukraine, Joinfo.ua reports.
Poland will also give Ukraine a 100 million euros credit assistance for cross-border projects.
Ukraine’s Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deschytsia wrote on Twitter: “What a wonderful gift for the Day of diplomacy – the NBU and the National Bank of Poland signed a SWAP agreement on a credit line of €1 bln.”

Earlier, the agreement on granting funds was announced by Polish President Andrzej Duda and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko during their meeting in Kyiv on December 15, 2015.
