National Bank of Ukraine to loan $9 bln in 2016
Head of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said that Ukraine will receive near $9 bln from several creditors in 2016

December 29, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Valeriya Gontareva held a final press conference. She said that Ukraine will receive financing from the IMF in amount up to $4.58 bln, the World Bank – $0.21 bln, the EU – $1.55 bln, under the guarantee of the US Eurobonds – $1 bln, and other financing – $1.53 bln, Joinfo.ua reports.

According to Gontareva, during the year Ukraine was able to increase gold reserves by 77% and now it amounts to $13.3 bln.

Also, from the beginning of the year, NBU bought on the interbank market $1.6 bln to replenish its reserves.

It should be recalled that earlier the Head of NBU said that the inflation in Ukraine is projected at 44% in 2015.
