Ukraine: Official dollar exchange rate drops to UAH 27.25

The Central Bank of Ukraine set the following official exchange rates of the hryvnia against leading foreign currencies for January 13:

$100 costs UAH 2,725.1629 (on January 12, it was UAH 2,711.3199);

EUR 100 costs UAH 2,910.2015 (on January 12, it was UAH 2,847.6993);

10 RUB costs UAH 4.5803 (on January 12, it was UAH 4.5067).

On Thursday, January 12, hryvnia quotations against the dollar on the interbank currency market by the close of trade settled at UAH 27.26/27.34 to the dollar.

Hryvnia quotes against the euro settled at UAH 29.0237/29.1061, while those against the Russian ruble settled at UAH 0.4517/0.4531.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, the weighted average exchange rate of the hryvnia as of 17:00 was UAH 27.2516 to the dollar, with 456 deals concluded by this time worth a total of $223.50 million.
