While new directors are actively working on the fifth season of "Game of Thrones", Los Angeles handed out Emmy awards. Everybody predicted many awards for the popular fantasy series "Game of Thrones", but at the finish line, all the awards went to the drug drama "Breaking Bad".

It also became the best drama series of the year, overtaking "Downton Abbey", "House of Cards", "Mad Men", and "True detective".

It is noteworthy that the "Game of Thrones" drama presented in 19 categories was the leader in the number of nominations.

"Breaking Bad" drama star Bryan Cranston once again became Best Series Actor. He headed off true detectives Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, Jon Hamm ("Mad Men") and Kevin Spacey ("House of Cards").

His colleagues Anna Gunn and Aaron Paul became Best Supporting Actors. The heroine of "The Good Wife" series Juliana Margulies became Best TV series Actress. It was her third award.

The best comedy of the year is the "Modern Family" which also took the Emmy for Best Director, and Ty Burrell also took the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy.
