According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Studios has acquired the film rights on the Let It Snow storybook, the creation of which was attended by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle.
Printed in 2008, the book tells about three parallel love stories developing on the background of the Graceland city stuck in Christmas snowstorm. The collection of short stories was warmly received by critics and included in the list of The New York Times bestsellers in 2009.
Scott Stuber and Dylan Clark took on the job of producers.
This year, the adaptation of Green"s "The Faust In Our Stars" became a hit in the box office, earning $ 300 million with a budget of $ 12 million. The movie also includes an adaptation of the John"s "Paper Towns" novel.
