It was a frightening experience for the 24 year old. "I was very nervous," she admits. "It wasn't an easy thing for me to do. It felt like: "Am I going to have lunch with these people, or am I going to be eaten? Am I the lunch?" She added that she had decided to take advantage of the fact that she is famous, to draw attention to the issues of feminism.

In her fiery speech, Watson spoke of discrimination against women and that it is necessary to fight for gender equality.

Emma said that she has long been interested in feminist movement and she read a lot about it. In addition, public activity helped her to pull herself together and to divert attention from fame many stars hardly cope with at a young age. Now, when she became an active member of the United Nations Women, Emma admits that she has begun to defend equality in childhood, for which she thanks her parents and teachers, who have influenced the formation of actress' worldview.

"I'm lucky I was raised to believe that my opinion at the dinner table was valuable. My mum and I spoke as loudly as my brothers," said Emma.

The celebrity complains that the recent attitude toward feminism has started to become negative. But actually there is nothing wrong about it.

"Feminism is not here to dictate to you. It's not prescriptive, it's not dogmatic. All we are here to do is give you a choice. If you want to run for President, you can. If you don't, that's wonderful, too." said Watson. By the way, for the photo shoot, Emma intentionally paid attention to clothes of the fashion houses headed by women: Stella McCartney and Celine and Chloé.
