Angelina’s movie First They Killed My Father is based on the autobiography of Cambodian human rights activist Loung Ung, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Just Jared.
It tells the true story of the devastation in Cambodia stemming from the Khmer Rouge communist party in the 1970s, which led to the death of two million people.
Angelina explains, “The heart of it is Loung’s story, it’s the story of a war through the eyes of a child, but it is also the story of a country.”
“It’s the first time on this size there’s something about this war and country,” Angelina added about the film, which she insisted only use Cambodian actors and speak their native language.

It should be recalled that Angelina Jolie is allegedly planning on adopting a 7th child after the split with Brad Pitt.
