Dakota Johnson, 27, has completed work on the Fifty Shades series after shooting Fifty Shades Freed concurrently with the recently-released Fifty Shades Darker, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Express.
So now she’s stepped away from co-star Jamie Dornan for something completely different – a horror remake.
She was spotted with red hair on the set of the film this week, alongside a long red dress.
The film is Suspiria, which was originally a 1977 horror with Dario Argento.
She’s playing Suzy Bannion, the heroine of the original, in a cast that also boasts Tilda Swinton.
The latter star looked totally unrecognizable last week as she was spotted in costume – as an elderly man.
Suspiria’s story tells of a young ballet dancer who comes across sinister secrets in her academy.
Swinton and Johnson previously worked together on A Bigger Splash.
Fifty Shades Darker, meanwhile, has been banned in India over its explicit sexual content.
Johnson confirmed that she had banned her parents from watching it.
Jamie Dornan has also moved on to a new project.
