It is no wonder Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and Lily-Rose Depp pulled out all the stops in matching champagne show-stopping gowns, as they paraded the red carpet of the Annual Cannes Film Festival’s Opening Gala, according to MailOnline.
The models, known for stunning appearances, captivated all attention in their strikingly similar silk gowns, complete with thigh-high splits, on the famous Palais des Festivals red carpet – before supermodel Bella sadly suffered a fashion faux-pas, as she accidentally flashed her knickers while posing for cameras.
Supermodel Bella, 20, first commanded attention at the gala, which doubled up as the opening screening of Ismael’s Ghosts, in a stunning pink Alexandre Gauthie gown, which skimmed her enviably slender figure from head to toe.
Keeping her ensemble classically chic from head to toe, the sister of fellow model Gigi accessorised with a bedazzling pair of glitzy silver heels and a statement sapphire choker, which fell delicately across her neck.
The LA native styled her brunette tresses into a sexy bob of tousled waves, and left her make-up mostly natural other than a classically glamorous slick of black eyeliner as she oozed glamour in front of her fellow guests.
However, Bella soon stole attention for a more undesired reason on the carpet, as she turned to pose with her rear to the cameras – but accidentally flashed her nude control underwear beneath her gown.
Yet, as one of the top models of the moment, the brunette beauty was quick to brush the incident off as she happily greeted friends on the carpet, and continued to pose like a true professional.
The Victoria’s Secret model clearly knew how to deal with such a situation – having suffered a similar fate on the carpet in 2106, except on that occasion she had not been wearing any underwear at all.
Blurred Lines video vixen Emily Ratajkowski was next to arrive in a glossy nude gown, which was custom Twinset, to match Bella’s – having clearly taken inspiration from Hadid’s scarlet ensemble last year.
The gown was formed of a stunning soft silk, and remained simple but sexy in shape – scooping into a plunging round neck to tease at her famous cleavage, before falling the floor with a daring thigh-high split on one side.
Never afraid to show off her smooth and sun-kissed skin as one of the sexiest models of the moment however, the brunette then set pulses racing further as the gown cut into an open back, secured by delicate diamond straps at just above her rear.
Channelling her inner Audrey Hepburn, the brunette swept her hair up into a sophisticated up-do, complete with vintage bangs falling across her face, and a sultry, smoky eye as she delivered her famous smoulder on the carpet.
Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ stunning model daughter Lily-Rose Depp was next to arrive in a Grecian-style white Chanel gown, as she beamed and waved for cameras.
The dress perfectly mixed together modern and old-fashioned styles – first pulling into a casual and trendy T-shirt shape on top, before slitting into wide cut-outs at her petite waist.
Giving the rest of the look more of a Grecian goddess feel however, the gown was secured at the waist and shoulders with a string shimmering gold leaves, evoking the time’s classic laurel leaf headbands, before it fell into gorgeous white pleats all the way to the floor.
As a young muse of Chanel director Karl Lagerfeld, the 17-year-old’s striking natural beauty was clear for all to see as she left her hair in simple curls, and added glowing make-up to her enviably clear skin.
