On the show on Saturday (April 8), the sketch show made fun of the director’s concept behind the protest-themed commercial starring Kendall Jenner, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Just Jared.
Before they started filming the commercial, the director chats on the phone about his idea for the commercial, but is told by multiple people that it is not a good commercial.
The day after the commercial aired and faced tons of backlash, Pepsi pulled it off the air and apologized for “missing the mark.”
