Italian lasagna from Hector Jimenez-Bravo

Cooking Recipes: lasagna following classic Italian recipe from the "Vse bude dobre" ("Everything's going to be alright") show expert and the chief judge of the "Master Chef" show Hector Jimenez-Bravo.

For this, we need the following ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil

700g ground beef

1 white onion

2 cloves garlic

0,5 bell pepper

800g peeled tomatoes

100g tomato paste

3 cups milk

50g wheat flour

50g butter

Almonds to taste

400g Cheddar Cheese

100g Parmesan cheese

250g sheets for lasagna

Dried oregano to taste

Dried basil to taste

Dried rosemary to taste

Pepper to taste

Salt to taste


Now, the process of cooking. First, prepare the Bolognese sauce: preheat olive oil in a frying pan. Add chopped garlic, chopped onion and chopped bell pepper. Fry until onion and garlic get lightly browned. Add salt and pepper. Add ground beef and stir. When beef gets grayish hue, add oregano. After 5 minutes, put smashed tomatoes and tomato paste. Put a bit of rosemary. Our first sauce is ready!

Then goes the preparation of the Bechamel sauce with cheese. To make it, we melt butter in a frying pan. Add flour, mix well and fry it until it gets light golden brown. Remove the oil-flour mixture and cool it. In a separate frying pan warm up a little milk (1 cup), and add the previously mentioned mixture (1.5 tablespoons). Beat the mixture right in the frying pan with a spatula, to avoid the formation of lumps. Cook the Bechamel sauce on a very low heat for the sauce not to burn. Add more milk. Stir and add some grated cheese. Remove from fire.

Now lasagna itself: preheat the oven to 220 C. Spread the bottom of the lasagna form with the Bechamel sauce. Put in the lasagna sheets. Cover them with the Bolognese sauce. Put lasagna sheets on top. Make 5 layers in such a way. Sprinkle the last layer of the Bolognese sauce with grated Cheddar cheese. Cover it with lasagna sheets. Spread the Bechamel sauce and sprinkle it with grated parmesan cheese. Cover the pan with a lid and put it in the oven for 20-30 minutes.

Slice ready lasagna and decorate with a sprig of parsley. This dish is sure to become one of your favorites! Just taste it!
