Since the fall of this year, the additional facilities will be available both during the flight and during its planning.
For the long-haul Asian routes, the Finnair developed the Economy Comfort package: it offers a seat in the front rows of the cabin, increased legroom, special ergonomic head cushions, high-quality headphones, as well as personal travel kit for a rest during the flight. During daily flights, all passengers of the economy class will be offered additional free afternoon tea and sparkling wine, as well as an expanded range of wines available at extra charge.
Sky Bistro service will enable the passengers of the short-term flights in Europe to choose their own food when buying a ticket, or directly on board. The travelers will be offered dishes of European and Asian cuisine. The pay for meals is possible both in advance at the official website of the airline, and during the flight. Coffee and tea, as well as Finnair special drink – blueberry juice – is still offered for free on all the flights of the company. For the business class passengers the meals, as before, are included in the ticket price.
In addition, this fall, there will be launched the Finnair mobile app for iOS. The passenger can check in, choose a seat, and download an electronic boarding pass with the help of this app.
