There are so many different recipes for potatoes, you would not even imagine. But the people who care about their figure too much, usually are ready to give it up completely. But is it right? As it turned out, not so much.
American scientists who love to prove something and carry out experiments, invited ninety volunteers (men and women). The participants of the experiment were divided into three groups, each group had their diet, but each of them received 5-7 servings of potatoes a week.
After twelve weeks, the volunteers were weighed and it was found that they all lost almost the same amount of excess weight. It is noteworthy that the members of the group who were allowed to eat whatever they want lost weight too. Thus, scientists have proved that potato is not only rich with vitamin C (half of the required amount) and potassium, but also helps to lose weight.
Of course, we are not talking about French fries or potatoes fried with lard. Find recipes based on the principles of healthy diet, and you will notice that being fit and healthy is not so difficult.
