So far, the total number of victims has exceeded 5,400 people. Termination of a widespread epidemic growth is seen in two countries most affected by the virus. The World Health Organization (WHO) provided this information on November 19.

However, intensive spread of Ebola is still observed in Sierra Leone. Last week the number of patients with this fever was 500 people, joinfo.ua reports.

It is also known that in Mali, medical workers managed to take the spread of the virus under control. At the same time, the French authorities strongly recommend its citizens not to visit this country.

As reported by the WHO, according to the latest data, the number of victims of the epidemic has reached 5420 people. So far, there are 15 145 cases of Ebola infection recorded in eight countries.

Earlier there were reports that a vaccine against Ebola is already tested on humans after many experiments with animals.
