The world celebrates the International Volunteer Day on December 5 since 1985. Ukraine’s experience in volunteer movement has a special meaning, connected to the Russian aggression in the east of the country, and also to the large-scale reforms of the country, bound to change Ukraine on the way to the European community, Joinfo.ua reports.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, congratulating the volunteers, stressed on the unique role of volunteers in the development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “I want to stress that without volunteers, without all the Ukrainian people, our victory would be impossible. Low bow and respect for the entire volunteer movement,” – he said at the session of the National Council of Reforms.

The people’s Project dedicated a new video to all the volunteers, helping people and saving lives:
