Ukrainian Parliament approved the state budget for 2016
The adoption of the state budget for 2016 by the end of this year will allow Ukraine to receive the third tranche of the IMF's EFF and other international financial aid

Early morning of December 25, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in general the state budget for 2016, 263 deputies voted for the decision.

Revenues of the state budget was estimated at UAH 595.1 bln ($24.4 bln), expenditures – UAH 667.7 bln ($27.4 bln), Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Korrespondent.

The maximum amount of the state budget deficit of Ukraine is established in the amount of UAH 83.694 mln (3.7% of the planned GDP), including maximum deficit of the general fund of the state budget of Ukraine – in the amount of UAH 68.894 bln, maximum deficit of the special fund of the state budget of Ukraine – in the amount of UAH 14.8 bln.

Also on December 31, 2016, the maximum amount of public debt is estimated in the amount of UAH 1.502 bln, the maximum amount of the guaranteed state debt – UAH 444.779 bln.

The minimum living cost was set on January 1, 2016 – UAH 1,330 ($55.19) per month, on May 1 – UAH 1,399 ($58.05) per month, on December 1, – UAH 1,496 ($61.31) per month. The size of the minimum wage is set on 1 January 2016 – UAH 1,378 ($57.18) per month, on May 1 – UAH 1,450 ($60.18) per month, on December 1 – UAH 1,550 ($63.53) per month.

The average annual hryvnia exchange rate for 2016 is UAH 24.1 per dollar. It is expected that by the end of 2016 the national currency will decline to UAH 24.4 per dollar. According to the estimates of the Ministry of Finance, the real gross domestic product (GDP) next year will recover up to 2%, nominal GDP will be UAH 2.262 trillion. At the same time, inflation is planned at 12%.
