Amazing frozen bubbles lit up by the Northern Lights
A photographer made stunning pictures of the ice bubbles under the surface of a lake illuminated by the green light of the Northern Lights

David Swindler, a photographer from Utah, US, made these pictures at Abraham Lake in Alberta, while on a camping trip in the Canadian Rockies, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Daily Mail.

He said: ‘We had a great time photographing the ice bubbles. We had been looking for the aurora, since the forecast had looked promising. We didn’t see anything at first, so we were busy photographing bubbles on the other side of the island.”

‘My buddy Jeremy went to check out more bubbles on the other side – and when he came back he said the aurora was out! We were ecstatic, we ran straight over to where the aurora was dancing to set up some shots – the aurora got really active, it was the best show we’d seen all week,” – the photographer said.
