The Ukrainian Julia Melnyk from Crimea is a self-taught make-up artist. Julia’s dream is to enter the Hollywood’s Professional Makeup School, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to Podrobnosti.
Julia has been working on it for two years. There is no such school in Ukraine, so Julia has to buy materials and learn how to use them by herself.
Julia has decided to take part in the Next Level of Cosplay Competition to get a scholarship in one of the most prestigious make-up schools in Hollywood.
Julia creates her amazing characters after her main work, on the weekends. She says that she has invested every free kopeck into her big dream.
Julia posted her project in social networks and asked for support, but she didn’t expect that her work would cause such a boom.
“I am very proud that I am Ukrainian, because it seems to me that there is no such forceful people like the Ukrainians. I’ve just written: “People, please help!” – and everyone responded!” – Julia Melnyk said.
There are still three days of voting, and Julia is among the leaders. Julia is hoping that she wins and this will be the first step towards her ultimate dream – a quality cinema in Ukraine.
It should be recalled that last week, Kuzya from Ukraine’s BreakNuts crew won the Unbreakable 2016 B-Boy Championship in Antwerp, Belgium. He is now qualified for the Undisputed World B-Boy Masters.
