Julia Melnyk, a Ukrainian makeup artist, has won 2016 The Next Level of Cosplay Scholarship at Hollywood’s Cinema Makeup School, UA Today reports.

The organisers said, her Game of Thrones-inspired work ‘White Walker’ impressed the voters and the judges, “winning both the fan vote and the judges’ decisions outright for the first time in our contest’s history.”

Julia Melnyk has been working as a beauty and fashion artist for over seven years now, however, she is fully self-taught in prosthetics and special effects. Her triumphant entry was created using “makeshift materials and second hand rags.”
