Canadians skating on icy roads

Icy weather in Canada caused the chaos on the slippery roads. But some people turned it into an advantage: they left the cars and put on skates.

A storm that swept across the Canadian province of Ontario provided a layer of ice of 15 millimeters on the streets, according to The Guardian.

The weather bureau warned of dangerous and icy conditions on the roads.

According to locals, “freezing rain” falling from the sky made it impossible to walk outside without slipping over. So, some residents tried to make the best of it and withdrew their irons out of the closet. You can enjoy their skating on videos posted on social media:
