Australians have just made makeshift 'slip 'n slide' of your dreams
The humble "slip 'n slide" is a fixture of summers in backyards around the world, but in Australia some people have taken the act of wetting a bunch of plastic and sliding around on it, to a spectacular level.

This giant slip ‘n slide is round, centring around an outdoor rotary washing line (a.k.a. a hills hoist) with a rope attached. Hours of fun!

The contraption created for “Australia Day,” the nation’s controversial public holiday that’s actually a day of mourning for Indigenous Australians and their allies, according to Mashable.

But hey, don’t let the long suffering of the nation’s First Peoples ruin your excessively flag-waving fun, guys.
