He’s a Maine Coon, so he’s naturally on the bigger side (the longest domestic cat Ludo, is also a Maine Coon), but he’s still impressively giant, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Metro.
At just six months old, he was already larger than a regular adult house cat.
He also happens to be a big fan of cuddles – and his size won’t stop him from getting cosy with his owner – even if it is a little tricky for her to lift him on to her shoulder. Ever since he was adopted, Tihon has refused to stop cuddling up with his owner, preferring to be picked up and carried like a baby rather than sitting in a basket. ‘He likes to sit in my arms all the time,’ his owner said. ‘He doesn’t like to be alone, and always follows me wherever I go, even the bathroom.’

Each day he waits by the door to welcome home his family when they get home from work, jumping into their arms the minute the door opens.
Tihon is very quiet (in Russian ‘Tiho’ means quiet, which explains his name), and doesn’t make much of a fuss – as long as he stays close to his owners.
Tihon has his own Instagram, which currently has more than 9,000 followers.
