Cancelled Wedding Dinner Turns Into Celebration For Homeless People
The love between Sarah Cummins and Logan Araujo turned out to die a week before the wedding. However, the bride didn’t want a $ 30,000 dinner to be wasted so she invited homeless people for the party

Sarah Cummins and Logan Araujo decided to cancel their wedding just a week before the scheduled date. But she couldn’t refund the dinner they ordered for 170 people, according to The Indianapolis Star.

So, thought Sarah, why throw all the food away? Sarah decided to invite 170 homeless people for the feast.  She contacted the local shelters and organized the buses for the guests.

The party took place on Saturday according to the original schedule, only the guests were not welcomed by the wedding couple, but only by the bride. They got everything on the original menu, including the wedding cake, which was cut in the kitchen behind the scenes. The mother and aunts of the bride and three of the seven bridesmaids also attended the party to support Sarah on this hard day.

The gesture of the bride has not remained unnoticed. Locals donated suits and dresses for the people from the shelters to wear for the dinner.

Sarah Cummins said that for her, it was an opportunity to let these people know they deserved to be at a place like this just as much as everyone else does.
