The device has 7.9-inch display with resolution of 1536 x 2048 points. It is to be recalled that its predecessor had exactly the same display. The case thickness remained unchanged – 7.9 mm.
The key difference of this new product from its predecessor is the Touch ID fingerprint reader built in home button. In addition, the new product is "equipped" with Apple Pay service, but at the same time, it is devoid of 32 GB internal memory.
Also the gadget has 5 megapixel iSight main camera and HD FaceTime front camera.
Apple A7 chip was in the basis of the "apple" manufacturer's decision. Apparently, it explains the lack of Cat. 4 LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11ac support.
The device has already appeared on the market. The company offers versions with 16/64/128 GB of internal memory. The price tags are $ 400, $ 500 and $ 600, respectively.
LTE-version will be released a little later, and will cost $ 130 more expensive.
Initially, the device will appear in the countries such as the USA, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China (only Wi-Fi), the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg Macao (only Wi-Fi), the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
