On the Sun, there occurred new solar flares, capable to influence the Earth's magnetic field. For example, recently, the inconspicuous AR 2192 sunspot has become the size of the planet Jupiter just within a few days.
The last time our scientists could observe such big sunspots on the star only in 2008. This fact made many of the world astrologers be anxious, because now and then powerful flares occur close to this very sunspot. As reported by NASA, they can lead to changes in the magnetic field of our planet.
AR 2192 sunspot was discovered by astrologers in October. Scientists were very surprised by its relatively fast growth rate. Just within a few days, its diameter increased to 140 thousand kilometers.
Experts believe that this anomaly provoked a series of solar flares, which can be observed the next few days. They can affect not only the magnetic field but also the mobile communications throughout the world. In addition, the unusual behavior of the Sun caused a series of auroras in different parts of the world.
