Internet becomes 20 times faster

Engineers from the US and the Netherlands have developed optical fiber capable of transmitting data up to 20 times faster than usually. It is not only much higher than current standards, but also six times higher than the previous record.

The detailed results of the experiment were unveiled by the scientists from the Technical University of Eindhoven and the University of Florida. It is planned to implement the technology in 2020, that is in five or six years.

It is to be noted that the increase of data transmission is a top priority in the IT-technology development.
