Referring to its sources, DigiTimes reported that at the first phase the American manufacturer would order the component units for 30-40 million watches. Experts say that this figure looks pretty brave, especially due to not too high demand for similar products from other manufacturers.

Key components of the accessory are system-in-package (SiP) S1 developed by Apple and Force Touch Retina display capable of "seeing" the difference between fast and conventional pressing.

In addition, the upcoming novelty will receive Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC, and the support for the wireless charging.

Apple Watch will be released in the first half of the next year.
