Next year will be the hottest

Global warming continues to progress, which is confirmed by the data of meteorologists. This year is breaking records of temperature indicators and has a chance to become the hottest one of all time of weather observations.

Next year will be the hottest

This year the meteorologists from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have recorded peak temperature numbers on the Earth and are confident that the next year will be defined as the hottest one in the entire 135-year history of meteorological observations. However, it is not known yet what the average temperature will be.

In October this year, the average temperature on the planet has reached 14.74 degrees Celsius, which is higher than ever before. Also the record temperature was recorded in May, June, August, September and October. January, March, April and July were also very warm. According to scientists, 2014 will beat all previous records.

Using various approaches to the study of weather, scientists say that 9 hottest years recorded out of 10 occurred already in this century. According to data, the absolute temperature record took place in 2005 and 2010, since the moment of conducting meteorological observations in the 1880s.

The average temperature in the twenty-first century has increased by 0.6 degrees Celsius compared to last century. Scientists believe that the greenhouse effect resulting from the emission of the carbon dioxide into the Earth's atmosphere is a major factor for global warming. Experts have determined that in the past year its concentration in the atmosphere has exceeded 135-year-old level more than twice.
