The researchers from the University of Liege, Belgium have determined that the black holes in the universe are in parallel to each other, despite the distance between them.
Astronomers have noted a strange alignment between the huge interstellar objects – quasars. According to the findings of scientists, it is very active galaxies with supermassive black holes at the center. The group of scientists have found that the axis of rotation of the central supermassive black holes in some quasars are located in parallel to each other, despite vast distances that separate them. This data was possible to obtain with the help of the large telescope located in Chile.
Also recently it was released the audio recording, made at the time of Philae landing on the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko. This is the first record of contact between a spacecraft and the surface of the comet in the history of mankind. It was made by the module's sensors. It is reported that on the record, one can hear the very first moment of contact of the apparatus and the comet.
Despite the short duration of the recording, the experts of the German Aerospace Center point out that its analysis can help to determine the composition of the comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko, as well as the structure of its surface.
