Scientists have discovered an unusual object approximately 90 million light-years from Earth. After having studied it, astronomers determined that it is a huge black hole, which originated from the collision of galaxies.
It turned out that this cosmic phenomenon creates fluctuations in the curvature of space and time.
Scientists believe that one explanation of this black hole will help to test the general theory of relativity of Albert Einstein.
It is to be recalled that the researchers from the University of the Belgian city of Liege have discovered that black holes in the universe are in parallel to each other, regardless of the distance between them.
Astronomers have noted a strange alignment between the huge interstellar objects – quasars. According to the findings of scientists, it is very active galaxies with supermassive black holes at the center. The group of scientists have found that the axis of rotation of the central supermassive black holes in some quasars are located in parallel to each other, despite vast distances that separate them.
