Ukraine presented a new transport aircraft AN-178 at Dubai Air Show 2015

Ukrainian delegation, headed by First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleg Hladkovskyi, presented a new transport aircraft AN-178 on the international aerospace exhibition Dubai Air Show 2015, Joinfo.ua reports with the reference to Delo.ua.

“At the exhibition of ​​Dubai Air Show 2015 160 aircraft will featured, including our AN-178. For the first time in the history of the show, the UAVs will participate in the flight program,” – the Ukrainian embassy in UAE informed.

International Aerospace Exhibition Dubai Air Show 2015, one of the leading international events in aviation industry, will be held November 8-12, 2015 in Dubai.

According to the organizers, this exhibition will be the largest in the history of the show. It will bring together more than 1 100 participants from 60 countries.

Ukraine is presenting new transport aircraft AN-178. Designed to replace the well-known veteran AN-12, new aircraft can be operated in the conditions of the Middle East and Africa.

Another new project of SE “Antonov” is a light multipurpose transport aircraft of new generation AN-132. It is developed by SE “Antonov” in collaboration with partners from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of the leading aviation companies of the world.

It should be recalled that at the international exhibition Defense & Security 2015 in Bangkok, Ukroboronprom signed a contract on the production of Armored Personnel Carriers in Thailand.
