Andriy Lutsenko, an inventor from the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih created a unique two-wheeled electric car named “Bumblebee”, Joinfo.ua reports.
According to Andriy, the idea to create the Bumblebee popped into his head while he was watching the wheelchair competition together with his son in 2008.
“We watched the wheelchair competition on TV together. 70 participants were balancing their wheelchairs on two wheels to see who would stay longer. My son said to me: “Dad, let’s make a car [on two wheels]. I’ll drive it to school, “- said the inventor.
The electric car has the maximum speed of 50 km per hour. According to the inventor, it also provides heated seats, steering wheel and the floor for the winter time. The pricing of the Bumblebee depends on the configuration. The minimum price is about 100 thousand hryvnias [about $ 4,000].
What’s more, you even do not need a driver’s license to drive it.
“Of course, it’s like a bicycle. But it takes more responsibility to drive it. You need to be careful and watch out for the people walking around you, “- Lutsenko said.
