Later today, Obama plans to deliver a speech on the importance of relationships between the U.S. and Asia at the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) forum. The U.S. leader also plans to join the leaders of Asia at the dinner before the concert and fireworks show at the Beijing National swimming center.
As part of a three-day visit to China, Obama will meet with President Xi Jinping. The leaders of the two largest economies in the world will speak to the press before the end of the official visit on November 12.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the APEC forum too. Official meeting between him and U.S. President is not planned, but neither party excluded the possibility of informal communication.
The next Obama's destination is Myanmar.
