Geoffrey R. Pyatt: Russia starts new phase of struggle

Today's activation of militants in the Donbas confirms that the Russian Federation has launched a new phase of struggle against Ukraine.

 

It was written in the microblog of U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt.

"Russia"s ongoing train and equip program for its separatist proxies is reflected in a new outburst of fighting, including tonight in Donetsk," Pyatt wrote.
