Ukraine and US to develop strategic partnership
On April 1, in the course of the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama. President Obama confirmed willingness to provide the third tranche of $1 bln loan guarantees upon completion of the formation of a new government in Ukraine.

On April 1, in the course of the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Presidential press service.

The Presidents discussed the situation in Donbas and the annexed Crimea. They also coordinated efforts aimed at full implementation of the Minsk agreements by Russia.

The two Presidents discussed the development of strategic partnership between Ukraine and the U.S.

Particular attention was paid to the necessity of prompt formation of reform-oriented coalition and government in Ukraine.

President Obama confirmed willingness to provide the third tranche of loan guarantees in the amount of USD 1 billion upon completion of the formation of a new government in Ukraine.
