In the Polish city of Szczecin, there is formed the National Guard with volunteers. As the organizers explained, the initiative arose due to the disturbing developments in Ukraine and the threat posed by the Islamic fundamentalism. The National Guard, formed by the Poles, is a non-governmental organization; its purpose is to conduct training for the civilian population on protecting the state, reports by reference to Polskie radio. "The National Guard should number about 5 thousand soldiers."
