Ukraine expects that the Riga Summit will define a clear timeframe for adoption of visa-free regime with the EU. It was announced by Dmytro Kuleba, Ambassador-at-Large of MFA of Ukraine during a briefing, The Day reports with reference to RBK-Ukraine.
He said that Minister Pavlo Klimkin discussed this issue with the group of Friends of Ukraine in the EU on May, 18 2015.
"The key messages delivered by the Minister Pavlo Klimkin to our European partners is that one of the fundamental expectations of Ukraine from the summit in Riga is the definition of clear timeframe for introduction of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU," said Kuleba.
"We and our European partners are willing to work hard to fulfill all the necessary conditions and achieve compliance with the criteria. But we can not allow visa-free regime becoming a never-ending process, a long play with no end in sight," he added.
