Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother detained in Madrid airport for smuggling

Dolores Aveiro, the mother of the best player in the world and the Real Madrid forward, was detained in the airport of Madrid, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the publication of El Mundo.

Customs officers had to detain Aveiro, since the maximum amount of money that can be transported without declaring is 10 thousand euros.

Ronaldo's mother was unable to explain where she got such a sum. Therefore, 45 thousand euros were confiscated and Dolores Aveiro was freed in Portugal with the other 10 thousand euros.

Confiscated funds will be returned to the woman only if she describes the source of their origin.
