Austria has finally completed the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

Austria has completed the ratification of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. It was announced by the President of Ukraine with reference to Ukraine’s Ambassador to Austria Oleksandr Scherba on his Twitter, Joinfo.ua reports.

“Austria completed the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Another step towards Europe! Danke!” Poroshenko said.

Earlier, the Ukrainian authorities were expecting that the EU would ratify the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU by May 2015. But later, Valery Chaly, the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, said that the pace of ratification process by the EU member states indicated that the ratification would be possibly completed by all 28 members only by the end of the year.
