December 22, in Minsk the Trilateral Contact Group reached a vital ceasefire agreement to come into effect at 00:00 of Wednesday December 23, 2015, Joinfo.ua reports referring to the information posted on Facebook by Darka Olifer, the press secretary of the ex-president Leonid Kuchma, the representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group.

“The key issue, which still remains without a solution – is the continuation of attacks along the contact line. That is why there is an agreement on the full and unconditional ceasefire, starting from 00:00 of December 23, 2015. This initiative is necessary, first of all, for the civilian population of Donbas, to let them meet a peaceful Christmas and the New Year,”- wrote Olifer.

It should be recalled that today, December 22, violating the Minsk Agreements, militants seized the town Kominternove, which is located in “gray area” on the contact line near Mariupol.
