Ukraine signs $50 mln loan agreement with Turkey
Turkey will also provide Ukraine with a mobile field hospital

On Monday February 15, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu arrived in Kyiv today on a visit at an invitation of Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Cabinet press service.

The Governments of Ukraine and Turkey signed an agreement ona $50 mln loan to Ukraine to fill general fund of the state budget with the maturity period of 5 years and a 2.5% annual interest rate. The document was signed by Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko and a representative of theUndersecretariat of Treasury of the Turkish Republic.

The Republic of Turkey will also provide Ukraine with a mobile field hospital.

Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed gratitude to the Turkish people for their support of the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine, “for the support for our fight against Russian aggression and support for our position that “Crimea is Ukraine, as well as Donetsk and Luhansk”.

“Each of our countries protects its borders and its citizens, its territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty”, emphasized the Head of the Ukrainian Government.
