Today, 16 February 2016, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine failed the vote for the resignation of the government headed by the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Joinfo.ua reports.

Today Ukrainian government reported to the Verkhovna Rada on the results of 2015. MPs critisized the Cabinet‘s annual report and drafted bill on resolution of no-confidence to the government.

The Verkhovna Rada also recognized the unsatisfactory work of the government in 2015, but failed to vote on the resignation of the government and the Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

It should be recalled that earlier today an informed source reported that Prosecutor General of Ukraine Victor Shokin signed a letter of resignation.
