Prosecutor General of Ukraine submitted letter of resignation to the president

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin submitted a letter of resignation to the Presidential Administration, as the spokesman of the Ukrainian president Svyatoslav Tsegolko wrote on Twitter today, Joinfo.ua reports.

“Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin wrote a letter of resignation. It was submitted to the Presidential administration On Friday. I saw it,” – Tsegolko wrote.

But later the first deputy of the Prosecutor General Yuriy Sevruk said that Shokin has extended his leave and he would start work on Thursday.
