Ukraine defeats Wales 1:0 in a friendly match – video

On March 28, the National team of Ukraine defeated Wales in the Friendly match – 1:0. The only goal was scored by Andriy Yarmolenko.

On Monday Ukraine won a friendly match with Wales with a score 1:0. Yarmolenko finished Rotan’s cross and slotted our team ahead, Joinfo.ua reports with reference to the Football Federation of Ukraine.

In the second half our opponents did create several attacks and made two shots that could lead to a goal but due to Pyatov’s experience Ukrainians goal remained safe.

Ukraine got its first victory over Wales for the whole history of meetings with this team. Such a result should give confidence to the team for a successful preparation for a continental championship.
