A giant sinkhole opened up early morning in the street in Fukuoka city, Japan, causing power outage, water and gas supply cuts in about 800 households in the area. Fortunately, no casualties were reported

Authorities said they are investigating the cause of the sinkhole, which could be linked to a subway construction nearby, Joinfo.com reports.

It was also reported about roads closed and traffic jams. Police advised to hundreds of residents to evacuate from the buildings near the hole.
