Thomas Cook celebrates 175th anniversary with 3,500 free plane tickets over Belgium

Thomas Cook celebrated its 175th anniversary on Tuesday by releasing 175 balloons over each of the 10 Belgian provinces. Inside each balloon is a voucher for two return flights from Brussels Airport, allowing as many as 3,500 lucky finders to escape to a sunny destination this winter for free, Joinfo.com reports with reference to The Bulletin.

“Belgians who find a balloon can take the voucher to their nearest travel agent. They have to exchange it until the end of year for a free plane ticket from Brussels to one of four destinations: Marrakech, Hurghada, Antalya or Gran Canaria. The travel period is from 1 December until 19 March of next year,” explained Koen van den Bosch, spokesperson for Thomas Cook Belgium.
