Chinese company builds a full-size replica of Titanic
A Chinese shipbuilding company has started the construction of the world's first full-size replica of the Titanic ocean liner in China's Sichuan Province.

Titanic continues to capture the imagination after more than a hundred years. Next year, people will be able to experience something very unique. The amusement park in China will propose come on board of the first full-size replica of the famous ship so that tourists can feel how it is to collide with an iceberg, Joinfo.com reports.

The project is funded by Sichuan Seven Star Energy Investment Group, which invested 1 billion yuan ($145 mln) in the project in 2014.

The replica will be 269 meters long and 28 meters wide, and will have facilities of the original Titanic: a ballroom, theater, swimming pool. Besides, the ship will also have a modern must-have – WiFi.

The company invited a specialist from Hollywood Curtis Schnell to advise on the project.

“Everything will happen very respectful. We are trying to replica of Titanic as realistic as possible, although we will not build every room. On the outside, it will probably be as accurate as possible,” the representative told Reuters at the presentation of the project.

The company was criticized for building a theme park around such tragedy, but they are still enthusiastic about their project.
