Watch 19 buildings demolished in 10 seconds in China

Just after midnight on Saturday, the city of Wuhan in China carried out a controlled demolition of 19 buildings just in 10 seconds, using 5 tons of explosives in the process.

Nineteen buildings in Wuhan – from seven- to 12-story high – were cleared away to make room for a high-profile construction project including a 707-meter tall skyscraper, which would become the tallest in China and the second tallest in the world after Dubai’s 830-meter tall Burj Khalifa, Joinfo.com reports with reference to Shanghaiist.

It should be recalled that China built 84 skyscrapers out of 128 put up around the world in 2016.
