Meghan Markle has arrived in the UK ahead of joining boyfriend Prince Harry at Pippa Middleton’s wedding this weekend, according to MailOnline.
The actress, 35, and the Prince will officially attend the event in Berkshire as a couple after Ms Markle’s invitation was recently confirmed.
They will join the bride’s sister the Duchess of Cambridge and Harry’s brother Prince William among the guests at the lavish event.
According to E! News, Ms Markle arrived at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday and was immediately taken to Kensington Palace.
Although anticipation is building over the dress Pippa will wear for her wedding to James Matthews, there is just as much buzz around the outfit the American will don.
But so far her plans have been kept under wraps, although it is understood she will wear a hat.
Meanwhile the Church of England has confirmed Ms Markle and Prince Harry could wed at Westminster Abbey if they were to get married.
But the Prince would still require The Queen’s permission and it is believed the Archbishop of Canterbury would need to provide a special licence for any potential nuptials.
Well-placed sources say the relationship is extremely serious, and that Meghan’s invitation to Pippa’s wedding is the ultimate endorsement, meaning she could be a potential princess.
Speculation has mounted recently as to whether Harry will propose to Ms Markle and the pair were seen passionately embracing at a polo match earlier this month.
The pair made their first public appearance as a couple at the event at Ascot in Berkshire.
The Los Angeles-born star has been dating Prince Harry for around 10 months and the pair have taken turns to jet out to see each other in the UK, US and Canada.
Ms Markle spends much of her time in Toronto where she films US drama Suits, in which she plays paralegal Rachel Zane.
